Mehrdad Vosoghi, M.D., F.A.C.G. is the Medical Director of the Century Gastroenterology Institute and has been serving the community for over 15 years.
- He is a magna cum laude UCLA graduate, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Biological Chemistry.
- He graduated Finch University of the Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School to obtain his Medical Doctorate Degree and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
- He has conducted extensive research and co-authored many publications since 1992.
- His research publications specialize in EUS (endoscopic ultrasound) and the patient experience with EUS guided pancreatic pseudocyst drainage.
- He has also published literature reviews for the management of pancreatic pseudocysts. In this study, he compared the success rate, recurrence rate, morbidity, and mortality of surgical, percutaneous, transpapillary, and transenteric drainage of pancreatic pseudocysts.
